I know this is an Entertainment Blog but i couldn’t resist myself but to write on Neda Video from Iran, a beautiful young Iranian Woman who was shot dead by one of the Basij soldier. What was her crime ???? Right. Her crime was “She was just walking side by side with her father holding a simple sign which said Freedom.” That was her only crime. And what a tragedy that i had to write this article on FATHER’S DAY with a video of a Daughter breathing her last in the hands of her father.

President Barack Obama has already told Iran that they need to take a real hard look at their internal matter as many innocent lives are being lost without any cause. However that is not going to be enough as Iranian people seem to have going through this unnecessary struggle which is not helping them at all to live their normal lives.

Neda means “Voice” in Farsi and what a cruel fate she was in store for when she tried to make other people understand the same, yes the meaning of her voice. Many innocent lives are being lost in Iran which is really heartening. We, in America, declare that we are the leaders of the world. Now is the time when Our President Mr. Barack Obama should take some concrete steps against the nonfunctional government in Iran.

At the same time I am feeling extremely privileged to be a citizen of this Great Nation which is also the world’s Oldest Democracy. What a Great roots of democracy our past leaders have sowed so that ordinary people like you and me should be able to live peacefully with our family. At least I know today if I hold a sign which says “Peace,” I won’t be gunned down even though not rewarded. I am feeling really disturbed to see the fate almighty chose for Neda. I am sure there are many Neda still living in Iran.

I am feeling really fortunate that I can write this article and not be afraid of the consequences of my deeds. I know we are also going through a Tough time right now. Many people have lost their jobs and many are waiting to find the new ones. Let’s take a pledge on this day that we all do everything that it takes to make this great nation to come out of the troubled period. Please Stop blaming government even if you have lost your job. Please look for the alternatives that still are unexplored. I know saying this is very easy however it will take a great amount of work by people like you and me to pull this beautiful nation of ours out of the trouble. We will definitely do it this time also as we have done it in the past (Remember Great Depression). I know the path ahead is tough but remember “WE ARE AMERICANS,” we have never chosen any easy path. Just Remember Neda and her eyes when she died and i am sure you will find that you can do anything to make this country prosper and restore it back to its glory so that our children will be proud of us just like we are to our parents.
